We were tasked to create visually interesting and engaging backgrounds to an outdoor musical about the life of the saint of lepres, Father Damiaan which takes place in the 19th century, mostly in Hawaii. There were 7 huge LED panels that showed the locations from a realistic perpective. We created ~170 images for the 24 scenes of the musical. This was the first time we used the help of AI generated (over 6000 total) images with a sprinkle of Photoshop + Blender + Ae magic.
